Depuis la dernière version officielle v1.1.3 d'eDonkey, de nombreuses bétas sortent tous les 1 ou 2 jours préparant la future v1.2 qui est toute proche. Pour une vue d'ensemble plus efficace des modifications et corrections de bugs réalisés, voici un récapitulatif de toutes les bétas depuis la v1.1.4 avec les changelogs. Ces derniers sont de .overlord, principal programmeur d'eDonkey. Tout est en anglais, mais compréhensible avec quelques notions de base.

Awesome new feature! Catalogs. Catalogs allow you to browse through verified files without the fear that you are downloading the wrong thing. Publishers can create catalogs of their content and publish it on the donkey network. Catalogs are just normal web pages that have been digitally signed by the publisher to assure authenticity. Users can now browse these catalogs safe in the knowledge that they are downloading the correct files. You can now easily publish content on the donkey network without a webserver. And no more hassle of websites going down. Everything is right inside the donkey.
